About Artists Sunday Weekend: Artists Sunday Weekend—the weekend after Thanksgiving—is dedicated to supporting artists and recognizing how they enrich our lives, communities, and the economy. It was created in 2020 to encourage people to shop with artists and buy art as gifts during the holidays. More than 500 communities across the U.S. will champion local artists and promote the giving of the arts this holiday season.
Important Details:
- Application will close Friday, October 10, at 11:59 p.m.
- You will be notified of acceptance by Friday, October 16.
- A vendor Fee of $35 will be due if accepted.
- Confirm your acceptance by Friday, October 23.
- The two-day event is on November 28 and 29 at 12:00 - 5:00 p.m.
- Open to artists and fine craft artisans who live in Summit and contiguous counties ( Cuyahoga, Geauga, Medina, Portage, Stark, Wayne).
- Each vendor will be provided a 10' x 10' space, 6ft. table, and two folding chairs. Vendors will be located on each of the three floors on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Electric access is limited and an extra $10 fee. Inquire about availability.
- Must be able to carry and assemble vendor booths independently from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Saturday and tear down on Sunday from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.
- Must commit to the event times of Artists Sunday Weekend and agree to staff your booth for the duration of the entire event.
- Summit Artspace will be promoting Artists Sunday Weekend via various media, including paid advertisements.
