Radical Revival: Art as Healing
This exhibition invites artists to show how art can heal. Harnessing personal narratives and past experiences, artists have shown society how important a creative practice is for coping with trauma, disability, mental health crises, grief, and caregiving for themselves and others. This exhibition is open to artists of all backgrounds and abilities. Artists can submit up to two submissions. As many artworks as possible will be accepted, contingent on available space.
The show dates are January 8–March 13, 2027. The work will be on display in the hallways throughout the building on all three floors. The application deadline is November 15 at 11:59 p.m.
If you have questions or need help with you application please contact Director Artist Programs and Exhibitions, Anna E. Young, at anna@summitartspace.org or call her at (330) 376-8480 ex. 3.
